2009 Advertising Themes and Tie-InsYear of Astronomy, Lincoln Bicentennial Top Early Events
Agencies will be able to create ads around the 44th presidential inauguration, the Lincoln bicentennial, Alaska and Hawaii statehood and the switch to digital television.
The International Year of Astronomy and the inauguration of the United States’ 44th president will give advertisers an early start on 2009 ad themes and tie-ins, but that will be just the beginning of the eventful year. February will open with the Super Bowl football classic in Tampa Bay and will be followed by a triple anniversary on February 12:
